No. Bleach marks, dye transfer and some old set stains are permanent damage to the fiber. We tell you before we start if that is what we are looking at.
Why did the spot come back?
Wicking. The stain in the backing travels up as the carpet dries. A second treatment usually settles it.
Should I try to clean it myself first?
Blot with clean water. Avoid supermarket spot sprays, since the residue they leave attracts dirt and makes the area darker later.
Do you charge just for stain work?
Call with what it is and where. Small jobs are usually best combined with a room clean.
